San Ramon Cricket Pitch

San Ramon Cricket Pitch is Complete

Like Cricket?

San Ramon has a newly renovated cricket pitch at Windemere Ranch Middle School.  Like many of the award-winning schools in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District, Windemere Ranch has embraced the needs of its community and upgraded the popular cricket field.  Thank you, San Ramon Valley Unified School District and the City of San Ramon!

What is Cricket?

Cricket is a bat and ball game.  During innings, each team has a chance to score points by attempting as many runs as possible.  The opponents try to minimize the number of runs scored.  More details are available at:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cricket

How do I Join a Cricket Club?

The San Ramon Cricket Association (SRCA) helped work with the City’s contract landscape architects to develop the newly renovated fields.  The facility includes much-improved playing surfaces to the pitch and surrounding grass fields.  The new design allows for more seasonal scheduled use.  The City of San Ramon and the SRCA has seen an explosive interest and growth in cricket.  Registration for the upcoming cricket season should be starting soon.  For details, go to http://www.srcausa.com/
