Light up the Night Downtown Pleasant Hill, Nov. 28 from 5-8pm, Crescent Drive, Downtown Pleasant Hill

With enchanting horse-drawn carriage rides and photos with Santa, downtown Pleasant Hill will become your one-stop holiday destination.  Sip and snack on complimentary hot cocoa and cookies while taking in the sights and sounds of festive music and dance performances.  End your hight at the Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair an find that perfect gift for your special someone.  Click Pleasant Hill Tree Lighting for more information.

Holiday on the Square at City Center, Nov. 28-30 from 5:30-7:30pm, City Center Bishop Ranch

This very merry event in San Ramon moves to the brand-new City Center Bishop Ranch.  Witness the spectacular lighting of a 50-foot Douglas Fir tree at 6:30pm each night.  Snap a free “selfie” photo with Sidecar Santa and his revamped sleigh featuring a retro motorcycle with a sidecar.  Warm up at the coffee and chocolate cheer stations as you take in vibrant performances from LED-lit elves, toy soldiers and stilt-walking reindeer.

Broadway Plaza Parade of Lights & Tree Lighting, Nov. 29 from 6-9pm, Broadway Plaza

Gather your family and friends for a memorable winter evening at Broadway Plaza at Walnut Creek.  Businesses will be adorned with their best holiday decorations to celebrate the seasons.  Come early to stake out a good spot along Broadway Plaza Street for the Parade of Lights.  Santa Clause will make a surprise appearance at the end and lead the community in the tree lighting ceremony after the parade.  Click Broadway Plaza Parade of Lights

Hometown Holiday Parade & Tree Lighting, Dec. 1, 5pm, 603 Main St, Pleasanton

Take part in a hometown tradition as the City of Pleasanton treats you to a parade and tree lighting event.  Gaze upon the floats, marching bands, community groups and more as they travel down Main Street.  After the parade, Pleasanton’s mayor will preside over the tree lighting ceremony, with a little help from none other than Santa Claus!  Click Pleasanton Parade of Lights for more information.

Alamo Tree Lighting Festival, Dec. 2 from 4:30-6:30pm, 3000 Danville Blvd, Alamo

A classic holiday experience awaits you in Alamo, complete with music performed by local school music programs.  Santa Claus will be in attendance at this rain-or-shine event to take photos with and to find out what good boys and girls would like under their tree this year.

It’s a Wonderful Life in Lafayette, Dec. 7 from 4-6:30pm Mt Diablo Blvd, Lafayette

Your little ones will rejoice when they see Santa Claus as he cruises aboard Lafayette’s treasured Old Betsy fire engine, making his way to meet all the children on his “Nice List”.  In addition to a spectacular tree lighting ceremony, live music, photo opportunities, crafts, food and drink and a holiday sing-along are just some examples of the festive fun you’ll find.  Click Lafayette Holiday Event for more information.
