DVHS PTSA Safety Meeting Sept. 18
Join the DVHS PTSA in the Library on Sept. 18 at 7pm for an important discussion about safety at DVHS. The program will share initiatives at the district level and perspectives of the local police department about what is planned to help keep our kid’s safe while at school.
DVHS PTSA has chosen school safety as one of their main goals this year. The community believes that keeping students safe while attending school and participating in school activities is crucial to promoting a social and creative learning environment. Making sure our student’s basic safety needs are met, and that our children feel comfortable on campus, is a critical part of learning. Therefore, the PTSA is hosting this important event to share ideas about how we can all come together to keep our students, our events and community safe.
Guest speakers for the DVHS Safety Program on 9/18 include James Corral, SRVUSD Safety/Wellness Coordinator and Katie Williams, San Ramon Police Department, and School Resource Officer, who will provide an update on all the new initiatives that the district and school has taken to keep our students safe and give you a peace of mind while your children are at school away from you.
A big thanks to DVHS PTSA for making safety a priority this year. See you at the event!
